Welcome to the Club

Sovereign Harbour Yacht Club prides itself on being an active, all-year round club with one of the best clubhouses on the south coast.

Formed by a small band of enthusiasts in 1995, the club has grown consistently each year and we now have over 700 members. Our bright, modern clubhouse, which we opened in 2006, is the base for our active racing, cruising and social programmes, and we enjoy a wide range of events throughout the year.

Located at the eastern end of Eastbourne’s famous promenade, Sovereign Harbour is rapidly becoming the largest and one of the most stunning marinas in northern Europe. Excellent visitor facilities, berthing for nearly 1,000 boats and 24/7 access make Sovereign Harbour a favourite port of call for yachtsmen.

Sovereign Harbour Yacht Club extends a warm welcome to visitors from the UK and the continent alike.

The clubhouse is open from Monday to Saturday 12.00hrs to 23.00hrs and on Sunday from 12.00hrs to 22.30hrs. The Club has an excellent galley and our chef provides a quality menu at very reasonable prices.

The top floor of the Club, the Royal Sovereign Suite, is available for private functions and conferencing, and we have hosted many events for a variety of prestigious clients.
