SHYC Today

Today, SHYC is a thriving yacht club. Our smart new clubhouse, one of the best facilities on the south coast, serves the needs of our expanding membership as well as providing a much-needed focus for social functions in the marina. This is a marvellous asset for all our members, achieved in such a short club history.

With air-conditioned bars, large picture windows and extensive sunny balconies on both the first and second floors, the clubhouse provides fantastic views over the North Harbour and is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the marina.

The contemporary design provides four floors comprising:

• Lower ground floor – berth holders facilities
• Ground floor – main entrance
• 1^st floor – club room and bar incorporating committee room
• 2^nd floor – main function suite and toilets

We are proud of our clubhouse and prouder still of our reputation as a thriving, active and friendly yacht club.
