Andrew Norton, RYA Motor Cruising projects manager said: “The
motor cruise is now in its 12th year and continues to be as popular as
ever. It’s a great opportunity for novice channel crossers and we
very much welcome new comers to the fleet. But equally, it’s a very
social occasion and we see cruisers coming back year on year to take part.”
The cruise is open to motor cruisers with a LOA of 25ft and over and
capable of a cruising speed of no less than 15 knots, however vessels
of less than 25ft will be assessed on an individual basis.
At least two control boats and an engineer from Seastart will accompany
the fleet and comprehensive cruise notes will be provided along with briefings
in each port.
The Cruise is strictly limited to 30 boats, so early booking is advised.
